The South seizes federal forts
They refused to surrender federal fort ,they all needed to surrender but they never did. They had so many people surrender at the beginning and then when it got close to the end the war they started getting to the point where they didn't want to surrender. -
The South creates a government
In Montgomery Alabama the succeding states created the confederation constitution. The president during this time was Abaraham Lincoln and he had a very powerful group of guys at this time, -
Lincolns Inauguration
Lincoln said he had no way in ending slavery when it had already exsisted, and his people would be mad about that because they wanted him to end slavery. -
Confederates began bombarding Fort Sumter
The conferderates began bombarding Fort Sumter because it leaded into a entrance into a harbor in South Carolina. After the fort surrendered Abarham Lincoln declared they were still in war. The Civil war soon began after that. Soon after the war. -
The Sevens day battle Lee attacked Mcllean
The Seven days battke became known after Lee attacked Mcllen on June 26th 1862. After all this happend they had a major battle after this. They all had so many wars after this, but after all that they had a war which was called the Civil war which was led up to a bunch of bloody fight and even deaths happend. -
Abarham Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation
This Proclomation called for all the slaves in the nonocupied areas, in the Union rebellion which was free on January 1st 1863. -

The victory of Antietam is a super battle is a super important battle and they have an important gear and everything it is one of the most important and serious and dangourous battles in America -
The Confederate draft passed
This draft passed because it did not hold for some slaveholders, there were so many slave holders and they finally lead it up to the draft and had some get passed. There were so many laws at this time that would alway get passed. This draft seemed to be the most important, and it was all in for the confederets trying to hold it in. But they got it. -
The union was freed from slavery
The union really wanted to let all the slaves be free, so they made a proclomation on January 1st 1863 where they needed to let the slaves and union be free. The union oon enough got freed on that time and they were so thankful and happy that someone and all the rest of the wealthy union cared about them. -
General Lee advanced into Southern Pennsylvania
General Lee entered the union but as soon as he didn't like their rules he wanted to move to Southern Pennsylvania because he thought their rules were better and that they had more things to do than just sit and have slaves work for them. They had their own things to do than just lay around like lazy people and not fight war and not work on their farms or anything the slaves did it all. -
Battle of Gettysburg
This battle was a very bloody and serious and bloody war that affected all the towns and had some very serious accidents and many deaths. -
The confederates pushed the union line back
The union pushed it back major after the next day. They had 2 guys order and gain on Grant from Gettysburg and Lee gets Vicksburg. This also led to the civil war, it was another major part of the civil war it wasn't led up to it till after some of other events. -

The Siege of Petersburg
Grant again attacked Confederate forces at Cold Harbor, losing over 7,000 men in twenty minutes. Although Lee suffered fewer casualties, his army never recovered from Grant's continual attacks. This was Lee's last clear victory of the war -
Grants wilderness campaign
General Grant, promoted to commander of the Union armies, planned to engage Lee's forces in Virginia until they were destroyed. North and South met and fought in an inconclusive three-day battle in the Wilderness. Lee inflicted more casualties on the Union forces than his own army incurred, but unlike Grant, he had no replacements. -

The 13th amendment was a very important amendement that showed slaved the laws and they loved it because some of the people that hated the slaves and they also hated these laws now. -
Grant broke Lees defenses at Petersburg
This is one of the most important arguements in this history of time, Lee and Grant are not great buddies or big buddies. They have so many memories and different things to do and we all have to get so many things and everything there is so many, soldiers,supplies, and different things. They have a defensive army too against the other armies. -
Grant surrendered the Approxmant Court house
The court house was visited almost every day because it was a town. Most people thought it was a court house that the congressman had meetings at. But no it is a little street and town that they have little get togethers and hang out. -
Gettysbrg address
The Gettysburg address was very important and it was all in for the importance of the union and its people. This address was the most important of all. The union was shocked from this draft and didn't want to be apart of it.
