He succeeds in getting to America, but doesn't succeed in finding valuables. Sadly, he went back home to Spain. His brothers, however, stayed behind in America with a bunch of colonists. (Ignore the day; it wasn't told.)

    Columbus was paid enough money to make a third trip to America, making other stops along the way of course. When he arrived, he was greeted with the fact that his brothers' colony was a mess and his brothers were arrested for his crimes. He was also arrested in 1500 and later found not guilty of the crimes he was accused of. Then he returned Spain once again.

    Columbus died on May 20, 1506 due to rheumatism, years bad food, and many exposure to foreign illnesses. His body is held in a tomb in Seville, Spain.
