    Body Paragraph

Without Columbus landing on the Caribbean's after his long journey across the Atlantic Ocean life would not be the same. The businesses, food, education, and everyday lifestyle would be very different. When Columbus first landed he believed that he was in India. With Columbus landing here it opened others eyes to expanding their territories and therefore finding new land like the "New World". America is such a big part of our lives and most people don't know it.

    Body Paragraph

Everyday things like going to school and going shopping for clothing and food would more than likely not be a thing. Columbus discovering the Caribbean helped the U.S. with the imports that we now receive from other countries. An example of this would be all of the shipments from China to the U.S. with a variety of foods, clothing items, etc, would not be in our care if people earlier on in life did not think about opening up their land to others.

    Conclusion

With all of this in mind, this is why it was so important that Columbus landed in the Caribbean's. Every little thing that we own is because of him. America could be called something else or we could of not even discovered the "New World" yet. Citizens who have jobs with trading for our country would be job less and in the long run our countries people would be broke without all of the businesses to keep people on feet to support their families. Columbus helped the U.S. become what it is today.
