Reapportionment is very similar to checks and balances, as it must be approved by certain individuals. The state was reapportioned every ten years because of the continuously increasing population, which also allowed each district to have equal power in the General Assembly.

The 1996 Olympics were held in Atlanta, which brought in 5.1 billion dollars and caused an expansion of parks, hotels, and sidewalks. The famous Centennial Park, during the Olympics, was bombed and caused many deaths and awful injuries.
