    In Shrewsbury, Shropshire Charles Darwin was born on February 12 1806. He had 5 brothers and sisters and was the second youngest. His dad was a wealthy society doctor and financier.Both of his grandfathers were prominent abolitionists. He grew up in the unitarian faith but his father father was interested in anglicanism and even had Charles baptisted in the anglican church. Charles developed a liking for natural history while in day school ran by the preacher of the church.

    while studying medicine at the university of edinburg Darwin came to realize he did not like sight of blood so in 1828 he left university. He then goes on to joining christ's college of Cambridge where he obtained a general degree that may have lead him to be an Anglican clergyman. Throughout his time in university he has been more drawn to natural history than regular studies.

    Darwin received an offer to join the HMS Beagle as a naturalist for the ship as it travels around the world. Over the five years of exploring he gather so much information on the coast of south America. Darwin describes this as "the most important event in my life". When he set out at twenty two he still had plans on being a clergyman but when he got back he was an established naturalist. It was a lifetime experience that would help him for the rest of his life.

    this was the third book published by Darwin. The book was about natural selection evolutionary biology Its considered to be the foundation of evolutionary biology. The book shows evidence of branching patterns of evolution. Darwin includes things he collected from his experience on the Beagle expedition.
  • Last book

    Eleven months before passing Darwin published his last book, The Formation of Vegetable Mould through the Actions of Worms. Studying Earthworm behavior and ecology. The occurring theme in his books that gradual change over a period of time can lead to consequences. Although Darwin did not use the term "soil bioturbation" It was significant on the topic.
