    Charles Darwin was born on February 12,1809 in Shursbery England. He was born to Robert Darwin and Susanna Wedgewood.

    Charles Darwin was attending a day school program in Shrewsbury ran by George Case. In that same year, he lost his mother to possibly to stomach cancer.

    Charles Darwin was attending the Samuel Butler school in Shrewsbury in England for seven years. Butler was the grandfather of Samuel who was also a critic of Darwins work later in Life.
  • Charles was Moved

    Charles father Rober moved him from the school in Shrewsbury to University of Edinburge with his brother Erasmus. They both atteneed to school to become physicians like there father and grandfather.
  • Naturalist

    Charles went to North Whales to take a tour to meet Robert Grant the Naturalist he would eventually follow to his new destiny. Also, at this time Charles was also participating in Plinian Society. Which began November 10th of that same year.
  • Cambridge

    between the 1827 and 1828 Charles is on the move. He begins travling from place to place and getting ready to start College at Cambridge. Charles delays his move until January of 1828, he was going to get an ordinary degree in theological training but never completes it. He was going to purse bigger and better goal but he doesnt quite know it yet.

It is just a glimpse into his past at the early stages of his life but not his career.     With two false starts to get the Beagle out to sea, Charles had to wait to get approval to be on the ship. Not just from his father who was going to help fund his way on this journey but also to wait for the captain approval to be on board. See Charles wasn't the first option to be on Board the beagle it was the captain dear friend and if he declined then Charles could join. Well, guess what Charles was able to join the voyage of the beagle after all. The ship takes of December 27 1831.
