Charles Darwin Attended the traditional Anglican Shewsbury School. Science back then was thought to have been socially denaturing, and for young Darwin being interested in Chemistry he was now seen as a outcast by his headmaster. He was often called “Gas” by his classmates.

In 1825 when Darwin was just 16 his Father sent him to study medicine at Edinburgh University.

In 1831 Darwin earned 10th place for his bachelors of arts degree.

In 1831 Reverend Adam Sedgwick took Charles to Wales on a Geological adventure.

Young Charles voyaged out on a trip to sail around south america. This journey was where he made his most famous discoveries.

A sailor discovered some rocks with bands of oysters in them. This was suggesting that lyell was right about the land falling in some places and rising in other.

Where Charles Darwin discovered many species including what seemed to be multiple separate species of birds. In reality it was four separate breeds of Mocking Birds on four islands.

Darwin had finished his book and had gotten it published. 50 year old Charles Darwin was now suffering from really bad nausea and was sent to a spa in Yorkshire Moors. He feared what may happen since he published his theory.

He was now experiencing a crippling sickness. He once vomited for 27 consecutive days. He now was in down house infirmary where Emma was his bedside nurse. She protected him, cared for him and consoled him.

Charles wrote his autobiography between 1876-1881.

Charles was sadly suffering from a severe case of Angina. He had a seizure March 1882 and died of a heart attack April 19 1882. Before he died he said " Down graveyard as the sweetest place on earth".
