    Charles Darwin was a man with great understanding of human evolution that shocked the religious community. He invented a theory that different animals, and especially humans, shared a common ancestry and by the time of his death, his evolutionary imagery spread throughout science, literature and politics.

    Charles was intelligent, diving into science and his father thought that he would aspire into becoming a medical doctor or a pastor but later was far more curious in the study of natural history. Leaving home, he traveled through the Galapagos, closely observing the principles of botany, geology, and zoology. His studies include in observing birds, plants and fossils while noticing other possibilities throughout the world along with different variations in specific locations.

    Charles devised his theory of evolution. The theory is when animals go through a point of natural selection; where animals and living objects go through a process in successfully adapting to their natural habitats, making them thrive and passing on the genes while they reproduced. His theory later became simply known as “Darwinism”.

    It was not until 20 years later that he would publish his work, calling it On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection. In the next Century, science provided evidence for Darwin’s theory of evolution to be accurate, but the issue then came up while capitalism. It swept through the world that led social Darwinism to be used for imperialism, labor abuses poverty, racism and social inequality.
