  • Bio of Charles Darwin

Charles Darwin born on February 12, 1809 in Shrophire, England, we come to be the famous for his theories on natural selection. • Darwins Voyage

    Darwins Voyage
Early 1830's Charles Darwin set out on a voyage too many locations to explore. The main area of his exploration was South America where he documented his experiance and observation into his journal. He would dig up fossils and bone in South America which showed awful insights of slavery. All of this lead to Charles Darwin reaching the Galapagos Island in September of 1835.
  • Galapagos Island

    Galapagos Island
The Galapagos Island is the break through that Charles Darwin was hoping for. He found that the specie on each island were similar but had adapted to survive on their environment. One particular species that caught Darwins eyes were finches. He discussed that they were all from the decedents from the same linage. All these observations led Charles Darwin to investigate their genetic characteristic.
  • The Origin of Species

    The Origin of Species
This book was first drafted six years after Darwin's voyage of exploration. This is where Darwin introduced the concept of natural selection. What natural selection is, is the ability states is an advantage towards survival that is inherited to the off spring. A great example would be if turtles developed that ability to fly. Imagine a snake gaining the ability to camouflage, how much more vicious does that make the snake? The off-springs would carry that trait to avoid and hunt prey/ predator.
