Michael Jordan was born in February 1963 Brooklyn, New York, USA. He was the fourth of five. his parent's where called James Jordan and Dolores Jordan.

Michael in his childhood he moved to Wilmington, North Carolina. When he was a child he was passionate with sport but is was not basketball it was baseball.

He started Emsley A. Laney High School with a height of 5.9 feet. As a sophomore, he decided to try out for the varsity team but he did not make cut. The following summer he grew 5 inches. The following season he made the team. Over the following 2 season he average 25 points per game.

On Senior year h was selected for the McDonald's All-American Team. When there were 11 seconds left he made two consecutive free throws and won the game 96-95. He made 30 points the record for most points in a game a record that still stand today.

He started University at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill or UNC. He started the basketball team. UNC won the NCAA Division I championships in 1982. He was NCAA College Player of the Year in 1983 and in 1984.
