The League of Nations was an international organization, headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland. Created after the First World War to provide a forum for resolving international disputes. Canada was added individually to the league separate from England, legitimizing the status of the country. The creation of the league was also accompanied by the signing of the treaty of Versailles.
