They signed the decleration on July 4th. This is important because that is how the war started and how we gained our freedom. -

The cotton gin was one of the main reasons that slaves stayed around longer. The cotton gin made it easy to clean the cotton and then they could have more slaves because they made a bigger profit. -

This was an act that forced the indians to move west no matter how they felt. They were forced to move because we wanted to move west and expand america. This was the start of the trail of tears where they were all moved into oklahoma. It was a grueling 1000 mile journey and many died. -

The final clash between the Government and the Sioux indians. 150 were left dead. -

The great depression was the worst thing that could happen. The people that were in the middle class went to living on the street because money was worth virtually nothing. This event was importan ot our country because it is what led to us getting a president. -

The atomic bomb code name"liitle boy" was dropped on hiroshima. It devastaed japan and it was what led to the end of the war in the pacific. -

I was born in reading hospital. I have 5 people in my family one brother and one sister. My intrests in 8th grade is soccer and baseball. -

this day was when 2 giant airplanes crashed into the world trade centers. They kiiled lots of people and affected the whole country by making all the security suddenly increase all over the U.S.A. It also started the fight against terrorism with a new intensity.
