  • Declaration of Independence

    The Declaration of Independence is one of the most important document reported in the United States history.
  • Creation of the US constitution

    The US constitutiuon was written during the Philadelphia Convention. It convened from May 25, to September 17, 1787.
  • Louisiana Purchase

    The Lousiana Purchase was purcased by Thomas Jefferson on April 30, !803. The Louisiana Purchase bought half a billion acres, and New Orleans from France. The Louisiana Purchase expanded the United States greatly with a wide variety of new resoucres and land. This was a very important step for the United States of America.

    The Indian Removal Act was very important for the U.S. because it was able to remove Indian tribes froom there home. They would be traveled further west now known as Oklahoma. The President who made the Indian Removal Act happen was Andrew Jackson.

    The Battle of Gettysburg was a battle during the Civil War. It lasted 3 days and the North, or Union won the battle. Its important to U.S. history because it gave the north an advantage, and it was one of the most bloodiest battles in American history.
  • Lincolns Assassination

    Lincolns assassination took place in the Fords theater on April 15, 1865. He was shot in the femur, but did not die right away. The person who shot him was John Wilks Booth. This is important to American history because if he didnt get shot, it might of changed how reconstruction went.

    The Chinese Exclusion act was a United States federal law. It was signed by President Chester A. Arthur. This law changed immigration to the United States forever. It was the most important restriction on immigration in US history. The law was that Chinese could not immigrate into the United States. This law is so important to the United States history because it was the biggest restriction on immigration in the US history.

    Immigration from different countries to Ellis Isand has been going on for over a hundred years. Every single day more people immigrate to the United States. The beginning of Ellis Island was January 1, 1892, and it is still happening today. Its important to the United States history because if there wasnt any Ellis Island, immigrants would of been coming into the US sick, and it could of created an epidemic. With Ellis Island they examined the immigrants, so it didnt happen.

  • Apollo 11 lands on the moon

    Apollo 11 was the first spaceflight to land humans on the moon. There was 2 people on the rocket, Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin. Armstrong was the first human to take step on the moon. It was good for the americans because we beat the Russian to outerspace and won the great space race.

    I was born in Reading Pennsylvania. I have my parents, 2 brothers, and 1 sister.
  • Terrorist attack twin towers

    On September 11, 2001 the twin towers got hit. Terrorist hijacked two planes and crashed into the twin towers. The terrorist in the twin tower distaster were Pakistan.

    Mt. St. Helens is a active volcano in Skamania County, Washington. This volcano is in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States.
