Born on December 9th 1993 was a snowboarder, Born in Regina. His parents being Cindy McMorris and Don McMorris had two sons, Craig (Marks older brother) and Mark.

Mark and his brother Craig lived in on of the flattest places on earth... Some people ask how two pro snowboarders came from here. It all started with skateboarding, and worked its way to snow! Craig and Mark both got skateboards when Mark turned two!

1997 was Craig and Marks first trampoline. Craig and Mark got most of the fundimentals from skateboarding a wakeboarding but being comfortable in the air is huge in snowboarding. If it wasent for costco on May 3erd 1997 Craig and Mark wouldnt be where they are today.

November 1999 was the biggest mount of Mark McMorris life. This is when he first started snowboarding at the age of six!

Mark and Craig never had that person to look up to because no one they grew up where they did went pro. Two snowboarders came from a place where you can watch your dog run away for three days because its so flat... All they had was eachother and obviously they made it work.

In 2009 was Marks first year of competing professionally! He did not turn up so good at his first comp but as he got older things started to get better!

As a sixteen year old, Mark won his first slopestyle contest. This big win set him up for the up and coming years.

Coming off the big win from last year, Mark entered into his first ever Winter X-games coming seconed next to his good pal Sebastein toutant.

Up to this point Mark had a big bag of tricks, but going into a big air comp and landing the first ever triple cork 1440 was an insain step for him and snowboarding all together,

The year of 2011 brought Mark to a new level, by becoming one of only three snowboarders winning two gold medals in the same year winning slopestyle and big air.

Breaking his ribs 8 days before, Mark McMorris competed in the winter olymipics placing 3erd for Canada!
