Tane and Rebecca who are good friends are laying on a piece of wood on the sunnyvale pond. Tane begins to think about the idea of timetravel when he sees a shooting star.

Tane and Rebecca continue with everyday life but Tane is still thinking about time travel in the back of his mind. Tane and Rebecca talk about his idea and how it could be possible. Rebecca figures that people couldn't be sent through time but messages might be able to.

Tane and Rebecca think more and more about Tanes idea and decide to see what they could find out. Rebecca builds a computer program that will catch any transmissions ore messages through the quantam foam.

Tane and Rebecca need some info to get started on trying to get messages from the future. Rebecca uses some of her connections at the local lab to obtain BATSE data to use to try and pick up messages through time.

Rebecca uses Tane's high tech computer to write her time message catching code. She starts the program up and searched for messages but it didn't get anything immediately and they had to wait a really long time to get anything.

They find a string of data that may have come from their future but it is in a series of ones and zeros and they struggle to decode it. They find out however that the ones and zeros are not binary it's actually morse code with ones and zeros.

Rebecca found a group of ones and zeros to translate using morse code instead of binary code. The code actually said something it gave them a string of numbers that were in the same style or same type of numbers as lotto numbers. They decided to get Tane's older brother to buy the ticket in the message.

After Rebecca and Tane discover these messages they decide to use this info to try and decifer the info and find out that the real meaning was a message to try and save the world. They realize that the reason that they won the lottery was to buy a submarine.

They discover that in the messages through time the name of a lab that is somehow expirementing dangerously that will somehow endanger the human race called the chimara project. They decide to try and stop it.

They move on with their plan and visit the island that the lab was located on and take a look around the place to see what was going on. They go there and look around by taking a tour of the place because of Rebecca's fathers connections in the world of science.

The two take the sub into the ocean to the island where the island is. They journey to the island under water the whole time with small fights breaking out between the group.

They discover as the dock on the beach and travel up the walkway to the lab some clothes that seem to have just appeared there and no one in sight. They find the island oddly quiet and eerie.

The group made it all the way to the lab and are caught off gaurd by a millitary force that takes them prisoner. They barely escape and make it back to the sub by jumping off the side of the carrier where they were taken to.

As the duo barely escape their imprisonment they flee in their submarine back through the water. They have to navigate through a shallow ocean trench to barely escape the carrier's radar. They make it to an underwater cave on the other side of the trench and sit there waiting for the carrier to pass. It does and they sit in the sub clueless.
