Black and White are two teenage boys who are the stars on their school basketball team. Black is Marcus and White is Eddie. They both live in the same area, and both sometimes strggle with money. Their seniors fees were due soon and they had no way of getting money. They have heard that many kids at their school perform stick ups to get cash, so one night, they decided to do that. It went just as plannes so they continued to do so, until one night Eddie shot a man in the head. They fleed. -

Marcus was being interragted but never gave in to revealing that Eddie was the shooter. Eddie was freaking out, more worried fro himself than he was for Marcus. So while marcus was injail, eddie had decided to atten St.John's collegeto play basketball. Marcus could not affors bail, so he was sent of to Rickers island. But he was realesed back home.Marcus met rose in the park because she wanted to talk to him. -

Marcus and White did everything they could to get rid of evidence, They later on went down to the scene and foundnothing there,sothey assumed the man was still alive. Later on that week, Black and White were feeling better, and theyhad a huge game with lots of scouts. It was halftime when eddie realized Marcus wasn't on the court, so hechecked in the locker room and two men were hand cuffing marcus. he was arrested. Eddie had a hard time focusing during the second half but they still destroyed. -

A group of detectives came to Eddies house. They wanted to talk to him because he is very close to marcus, and they wanted to find out more about that night. The detectives asked if they own a gun and his father quickly remarked no we dont. They came back later and said that one of the ladies they had robbed indentifyed his picture so he was taken into custody. However eddie was bailed out. Their coach then decided that eddie would be benched for thir next game. the next day the read a story -

Everybody was being extremely supportive to marcus. They all knew he was and still is a great guy. On senior night, the principle told marcus and his family he could not go on. Kids in the stands started to yell that she was rascist, Connelly went over to quiet them down, and all of a sudden a fight broke out, the whole gym was chaos. Finaly it ended and ambulances were sent becaus esome people were hurt. -

Everybody clearedout of the gym except for the layers, coaches and refs. They played and lost, meaning they were out of the plyoffs. Eddie was mad. Mrcus woke up early the next morning to play ball by himself. to clear his mind. Marcus got a phone call, it was his father. They talked for while then they hung up. -

So in the end, Marcus never gave up on Eddie. He never confessed to anyone. He would be the only one paying the price, while Eddie was free to go to college and live Black and Wites Dream. Unfair, yes, vey. But their friendshsip was that strong.
