    The German Republic was reclaimed in 1918, which the territorial changes of Germany included all changes in the borders and territory of Germany from its formation in 1871 to the present.
  • Airline Qantas was founded

    The airline Qantas was founded in 1920, and founded by Hudson Fysh, Fergus McMaster and Paul Mcginness. Today, Qantas is regarded as the world’s leading long distance airlines and also one of the strongest brands in Australia. Qantas still continues to bring great service to its customers and is at the forefront of the international civil aviation industry.
  • Greece Declares War On Turkey

    Greece declared war on Turkey in 1921, and went for 3 years, 4 months, 3 weeks and 5 days. Territorial changes that were stated included lands initially ceded to Greece from the Ottoman Empire, incorporated into the Republic of Turkey.
  • Traffic Signals Invention

    Traffic signals were invented in 1923 by Garrett Morgan. The traffic signals were one of the major inventions, as this invention cured most traffic accidents, and much more. Traffic signals, also known as traffic lights, traffic lamps, signal lights or stop lights are signaling devices that are positioned at road intersections, pedestrian crossings and other locations to control all traffic on the road.

    Hearing aids were invented in 1923, to reduce the hearing of thousands of people that were struggling with hearing, or being deaf. A hearing aid is a small electronic device that you wear in or behind your ear. Hearing aids make some sounds louder so that the person with hearing loss is able to listen, communicate, and also participate more in daily activities. A hearing aid has three main parts to it; a microphone, amplifier, and speaker.
  • Medicine Penicillin Invention

    The medicine Penicillin was invented in 1928 by Alexander Fleming, Professor of Bacteriology at St Mary’s Hospital in London. Penicillin was invented in addition to cure pneumonia and blood poisoning, the major causes of death, in hospitals, during the war, strep throat, scarlet fever, diphtheria, syphilis, gonorrhea, meningitis, tonsillitis and many more.
  • Antibiotics Invention

    Antibiotics were invented in 1928, by Alexander Fleming, who invented quite a lot of things, also Penicillin. This invention was found in one of the most strangest, but interesting ways. Alexander was sorting through glass plates in his laboratory, where one plate had a smudge of mould looking on it. But little did he know, that smudge was the new discovery of some sort of antibiotic.
  • The Great Depression

    The Great Depression started in 1929, and it was when there was no money, countries were broke,people were broke, their was lack of food, it meant the world was broke on money. In April 1939, almost ten years after this crisis begun, more than one in five Americans still couldn't find work, or afford much. However, World War ll seemed to mark the end of The Great Depression.
  • Sydney Harbor Bridge Opens

    The Sydney Harbor bridge opened in 1932, and was created by Jack Lang, after six years of construction. The Sydney Harbor Bridge is also known as the ‘Coathanger”, and took 1,400 men eight years to build at a cost of 4.2 million. Six million hand driven rivets and 53,000 tonnes of steel were used in its construction.
  • Wizard Of Oz Movie Published

    One of the most greatest movies invented, Wizard of Oz, was published in 1939, published by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer.
