    On October 1, 1932, during Game Three of the Chigago Cubs- New York Yankees World Series, Babe Ruth belted a long home run to straightaway centerfield. According to legend, just before he hit, Babe pointed to the bleachers and bodly predicted he would slam the next pitch there. Did he call the shot or not? Like other fans, Joe Stoshack wants to know the truth. But unlike other fans, Joe has the astonishing ability to travel through time.

    They got there, but it didn't look like Chicago where they were supposed to be. So they went up to a hot dog cart and asked him where are we. He said New York. They got worried because they didn't know how to get to Chicago.

    They were walking around the New York suburbs and they noticed that a lot of things were cheap. The movies were 50 cents and breakfast was a quarter. But suddenly they heard a kid climbing a tree saying " Babe, Babe!" Joe and his dad saw Babe pull up in a maroon car. He opened his car door and waived at all his people.

    They knew that Babe had to be staying in a hotel so they took a cab to the Ansonia Hotel. Joe's father asked the lady up front do you know where Babe Ruth is staying. She pointed down the hall. So they opened the door and there was a huge party going on. They tried looking everywhere but they couldn't find him. Joe spotted a door that hasn't been checked. So they knocked on the door and went in. They saw Babe in the kitchen. Joe asked him if he could sign their baseballs. And he said yes.

    After they had dinner together, they looked at the time and it was almost time to go. So they took a cab to Grand Central. When they got there a guy escorted them to the train station. They saw that their train went already. They had to hail a cab outside Grand Cental

    When they got off the cab everyone was saying " Babe, Babe!" A few minutes later Joe McCarthy his manager got off the bus. He said that all the luggage is going to be escorted to their hotel in Chicago. They all went in different directions. They lost Babe. His dad hailed a cab to go to the hotel where the Yankees were staying.

    Babe's Home run!
    Babe was hitting fourth in the lineup. He was up to bat. He let the first two pitches go bye. The last one he cranked it high in the air. It kid of looked like a fly ball. Two seconds later it was out of the ballpark.
  • Wrigley Field

    When they got to the field it was very different from 2000's and very big. Everybody were trying to get last minute tickets even though the sign read SOLD OUT. He hoped to find his dad there. He told Joe to meet him in the front. Because he had the tickets. He tried to pin-point where he was going to sit. His dad suprised him out front. He gave the tickets to them and gave to the ticket taker stub. Babe told them their seats were on the first base side, a few rows behind the Yankees dugout.
