    Why: They were warned about the plot by army Creoles, who refused to join the insurgents, Hidalgo amoung them, and were on their way to arrest them. When Hidalgo called the people to arms, on act which is the subject of some debate among his historians.

    Why: President Antoinio Lopez de Santa, attemptes to bring U.S immigrationto a stop.
    So What: Texas became the 28th state of the union in 1845

    What: Sent military forces (Zachary Taylor)
    Where: Rio Grande River
    When: 1845
    Why: An act of aggression against the U.S and asked congress to declare war on Mexico, which did happen.
    So what: Since Mexico was refusing to give up Texas. The U.S declared war.

    Who:Mexico had to give up almost half of it's territory, which included modern day California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, parts of Colorado, Nevada, and Utah.
    What:Paid $15million dollars for war relateed damage to Mexican land.
    Where:Texas border at Rio Grande
    When:1848
    Why:Mexicans were restricted from voting, New Mexico, Mexicans victims of violence. California laws against them passed which were known as Greser laws.
    So What:By the end of the 19th century most Mexicans lost land force/fraud

    So What: The U.S claimed South Fonc and Mexico claimed North Fork as the maid boundness and that was the final boundry adjustment.
