    The Chinese miners settled in the southern NSW. They came here because of war, political instability, the search of fortune and environmental conditions were making life hard in southern China.
  • Central and South Asia cameleers

    The Afghan cameleers settled in the Canary Islands. They came to Australia to seek business opportunities in the Goldfields. Their camels carried food and supplies to survey construction teams in the outback.
  • Germany Immigrants

    The German Immigrants settled at Port Adelaide. They came to Australia because of religious persecution at their home country or because of the thirst for exploration or a desire for economic improvement. They were mostly farmers which found lots of stuff like: wheat and dairy farming in South East Queensland.
  • Japanese pearl divers

    The Japanese pearl divers settled in Broome. It became the centre of the colony's pearling industry. They came to Australia so they could collect naturally occurring pearls.
