    In the 17th century a slave trade began and one part of it was called The Triangle Trade. British people sailed with weapons and they sailed 4 months to West Africa. When they came there they traded those weapons for slaves. Then they sailed to the Caribbean and they sold slaves and the buyers were owners of large plantations in the Caribbean islands. When a boat filled with sugar and other expensive things at the time and they sailed back to England
  • India

    Queen Elizabeth 1 created the East India Company to develop a trade between England and India. English was the typical language for trades but a consequence was that one word in Britain meant another in India so a dictionary was made and it explained the meaning of the words. Thef people that spoke the language made two new which were called Bengali, English and Hindi English
  • Australia

    Australia
    The First fleet which contained 11 ships arrived in Port Jackson which is now Sydney.. Everyone in the ship were English and there were about 780 of them. They weren't regular British people but instead they were criminals. Those criminals were sent to Australia for life which means that they committed a crime in England and as a punishment they were sent to Australia.
