  • We are australians

    the english are creating a new settlement in a place called port jackson. the native indians are kicked out as there are no fences or obviose boundaries.the french were also very quickly stoped from colonizing austalia we could have all been french right now
  • King George the 3rd

    King George the third is exremely important because if he didn't send governor phillip to australia as I stated before we could all be french (and I wouldn't exsist)
  • We are unhealthy

    our population is near 5'000 and three quarters of the people are removed from the country because of government rations. when they could have been benifieting the poor settlers by becoming a farmer and helping the settlement. we are lucky that we are healthy today as other medicines have been discovered.

    the number of men in NSW still out number the women 20 to 1 the number of men will not increase because the men cannot all have children with the one woman and then the number of the people in the settlement will probably rapidly decrease.
  • A new colony

    A new colony has formed in van diemens land (tasmania)
  • The Blue Mountains

    Even though the aboriginals walked through the blue mountains for thousands of years Gregory Blaxand,William Lawson and William Wentworth lead the first english men crossing from sydney. they look in the forest and grassland to see if there are any plants or other things to benifiet the colony for the next thirty years. this helps because those people can help the colony to stay sustainable and our population or country could be much smaller today.
  • 1 sheep 2 sheep... 2000000 sheep ! schools out!

    there are two million sheepin the whole colony as there are only one quarter of the children going to school so the children that are not going to school won't hve learnt as much and will have fewer chance of getting a good job and ARE THE SHEEP TRYING TO TAKE OVER THE WHOLE COLONY OR SOMETHING!?
  • Bennalong

    Woollawarre Bennalong was a wangal man and indigenouse leader who co-operated with the brittish settlers. he tried to improve relations between aboriginals and the europeans.
  • Convicts are stopped

    the brittish government crush the convict assighnment system the convicts are no longer allowed to be given to settlers and become sheperds instead they are being put into road gangs in van diemens land. transportation to the mainland is to cease entirly. as a result as a result of these decisions, convicts conditions are dramattically becoming worse.
  • Aboriginals are slowing

    A commitee from NSW government claims that the aboriginals serve no purpose and should be removed. in the southern districts of NSW ther are reported to be widespread food shortages amongsed the aboriginals in the wake of squatter pastoralists taking control of the land. the aboriginals could be crushed and they could fight back and win making us aboriginals.
  • Gold Gold and more Gold .....(only maybe)

    Colonist discovered gold, and the british population soared!! this means that settlers can now become miners and possibly become rich and can maybe use it to benifie the colony and help the eureka stockade not use it for bad doings
  • The Eureka Stockade

    the eureka stockade. miners at ballarat evolve a wooden stockade to prevent government ill treatment and raise the flag of defiance, declaring "we swear by the southern cross to stand truly by each others to defend our rights and liberties so victoria will now almost completely fall and leave only two colonys
  • Parliment House

    Facing the intersection of Spring and Bourke Streets, there’s the elegant Parliament House. The idea was introduced in 1851, but the construction started in 1815 and there were a designing competition held, people who were in charge are: Peter Kerr and John George Knight. This was a very important step in politic. (P&E) This means that the colony can now have a proper government house and might make the colony better.
  • John Batman

    John batman was a farmer who started the colony called melbourne.
  • Robinson

    George Robison was an evangelist who thought that he could protect the indigenous australians by rounding them up and teaching them to be brittish.
  • Animals

    The Victoria Acclimation Society is created to introduce species like rabbits, foxes, starlings and blackberry bushes to make the English born to feel more at home in the new strange world. This turned out to be a big mistake for the Australia environment.
  • Schools in now

    In Victoria children over six must go to primary school this is good because it may mean that those children can now earn a better job and can make history
  • Ned Kelly Pops In

    Edward "Ned" Kelly was an Irish Australian Bushranger. He is considered by some that he a cold blooded killer, while others consider him a folk hero as and a sybol of Irish Australian resistance against the Anglo-Australian Ruling Class. this is a bad thing because he tried to fight against the government and caused danger throughout the colony.

    A protector of the aboriginals is appointed in NSW. He has the power to force aboriginals on to government reserves. more aboriginals are being stripped from their lives. this is bad because the aboriginal population in decreasing.
  • Women

    The Australian Women's Suffrage Society was formed in 1889. It aims to obtain the same right for women as man. They argued for rights to own properties, equal justice, etc. In 1894, South Australian women were the first to grant the right to vote, followed by Western Australian women in 1899. (S&P) this means that the women might become more efficient and could help the colony for the years to come.
  • Banks

    Major Australian Banks, based in melbourne to be on the verge of collapse. there are near riots in collins st as panic-struck investors scramble to withdraw their savings this is bad because the settlers will have less money and might not be able to afford food.

The flag was chosen after a public competition, holding over 3,000 designs. Even though it was selected in 1901 and published until 1903, it wasn’t the definite Australian flag or given royal assent until 1954.
