    Fogg went to the Reform Club to play whist and he heard other members talking about a robbery of 55,000 pounds.

  • The people at the reform club make a bet with Fogg

    The bet is about going around the world in 80 days. The wager is for 20,000 pounds.

  • Phileas Fogg starts his journey around the world

    Fogg goes home and tells Passepartout to start packing for going around the world in 80 days. That very evening they start their journey together.

  • People get suspicious about Fogg

    The people of London start to suspect Fogg of stealing the 55,000 pounds from the bank because he left town soon after the robbery and he took a lot of money with him.

  • Detective Fix thinks Fogg stole the money and chases him
