    This was the first popular uprising in the Arab Springs. A young vendor by the name of Mohamed Bouazizi set himself on fire in protest of his treatment at the hands of the guards.Demonstrations and protests broke out and were magnified by social media. When the protests reached the capital they responded with more brutality. They even shut down the internet. There president Zine el-Abedin Ben Ali promised to create 300,000 jobs but it was to late and he was overthrown.

    Egypt
    Egyptians got inspiration from Tunisia. Tunisia showed them what to do if there government was corrupt. Egypt's economic polices failed so they hit the streets to protest. Some forces hit back but it only made protesters even more angry. It was a furious battle for eight day. Finally president Hosni Mubarak vowed to not run for re-election. He resigned after 18 days.

    There has been unrest since January 2011. There were tons of protest seeing only one man killed. The Protests were not even as close to the violence as Syria. The people want to directly vote for the minster. King Abdullah II Said he promised to appoint a new prime minster. Even though Jorden is a small country with few resources they have played a huge role in the war.

    Hundreds of people came out demanding the end of leader Col Gadhafis. They were inspired by other countries rebellions. Authorities responded by opening fire on them. The U.N. offerd support for the protesters And then the finely took over Tripoli after hundreds of deaths. They drove Col out and killed him after his 40 years of rule.

    It started by people doing graffiti on a school in Daraa. President Bashar al-Assad lifted a law to allow peaceful protest. But that didn't stop it. All you can say about the last couple years is its a civil war. over 220,000 syrians were killed and more than 800,000 injured. Protesters were asking to end poverty and corruption. The war is still going with millions of refuges.
