In Italy, New Zealand makes a final attack on Germans Cassino. The attack is failed. On the Eastern Front, Ukranian forces secure Pervomaysk. Germans stop convoy attacks until the new U-boat design. Anne Frank
Her sister gives her a letter talking of Peter, than Anne gives a reply that talks about Petter and if she is going to be his friend or not. -
March 23, 1944
A bomb exploded in rome, killing 33 German soldiers and 2 civilians. Soon after, the German hight command killed 10 Italians for every soldier that had died. More than 330 Italians were killed. These Italians were prisoners and were burried in caves. Anne Frank
Her 'coupon men' left the prison this day. Anne talked about a plane that had crashed and about her life in the secret annexe. -
March 26, 1944
On the Eastern Front, the soviets cuts off the German army in Kamenets-Podolsky. Also, allied troups such as French, Brittish and New Zealand start regrouping. The Allied were bombing Essen for many years to destroy important factories. On March 26(in Essen), the Germans were attacked when they were unprepared. -
March 27, 1944
On the Eastern Front, 200,000 German soldiers are captured in the Hube's pocket. The Soviets had surrounded the Germans and had taken over Kamianets-Podolski. After that, Germans were now trapped in the middle of Kamianets-Podolsky. The germans fought their way out in mid-April. Anne Frank
This day Anne talked about politics such as: air raids, invasion, etc. After, she talks about how the Secret Annexe group prepare for their guests (how they are placed, how they are dressed, etc.). -
March 28, 1944
Germans begin the evacuation of Odessa in Ukraine. Also, Soviets take over Nikolaev in Romania by the black sea. On New Ireland, destroyers bombarded Japanese positions. The destroyers were able to destroy a radio and meteorological station. Anne Frank
This day, Anne Frank talks about problems of the Secret Annexe like the jealousy of Mrs. Van Daan and her hatred agaisnt her mother. She also talks about Peter and what will happen to the two of them. -

This day, Anne mostly talk about people who are not in hiding and live around the Secret Annexe. She talks about how they are poor and that everybody will steal.
