Anne Frank Timeline

  • Anne Frank is born

    On the 12th of June, 1929, Anne Frank was born. She was the second daughter of Edith and Otto Frank. She and her sister, Margot, were the only children of their parents.
  • Hitler Won

    The date of this event is unknown. In 1933, elections for the municipal council was held and Adolf Hitler's Nazi party won. So Anne, her sister (Margot) and her mother (Edith) fled to Aachen to live with Edith's mother while Otto ( Anne's father) stayed in Germany.
  • Moving to Amsterdam

    By 1934, Anne, Margot and Edith had moved to Amsterdam with Otto.
  • The Germans have invaded! New laws.

    in 1940, the Germans invaded Amsterdam. There were many new laws for Jews. Here are just some of them:
    Jews were required to wear a yellow star, jews were required to turn in their bicycles, Jews were forbidden to use trams, Jews were forbidden to ride in cars, even on their own, Jews were required to do their shopping between 3:00 and 5:00 pm.
  • Date unkown. Year is true. Anne Frank is found.

    In 1942, Anne and her family were dobbed in and found. Anne and her sent to the same concentration camp, and their mother and father were seperated.
  • The diary

    On Anne's 13th borthday she recieved a diary that she used to change the world.
  • The Secret Annexe

    On the 9th of July, 1942, the Franks arrived at their hiding place. This was only one day after Margot had received a letter saying that she was to be sent to a concentration camp.
  • Anne Franks death

    Anne Frank sadly passed away in early March, 1945. She died two days after her sister Margot, who died in shock of hearing her mother died of starvation. Otto Frank was the only survivor of the Frank family.
  • Diary published. Eminent moment.

    Anne frank became eminent when her diary was published. She will always be remembered.
  • Date unknown and not true. Otto Frank.

    Otto Frank moved to Amsterdam after recieving an offer to start a new buisness and organis acomidations for his family.
