    Both Anne and her older sister Margot feel like they have grown up a lot since the time they had started hiding. But their parents still treat them like back then, when they hadn't started hiding.

  • The discovery of sex

    This day was quite awkward, first, Anne finds out about sex and she wonders why parents don't tell all about sex to their kids at the age of 12. Then she thinks its OK for a men to ''bring a lttle experience to his marriage''. And, she complains that her parents don't tell her ennough about it.

    Anne is curious about why Peter is mad, so she knew where he was and, to be nice, she brought him a sausage. Peter, confirming Anne's thoughts of him being mad, refuses the sausage. So, Anne starts to talk to Peter and they end up talking for a while, about how they felt about each other back in 1942, their relation with their parents, and soon, they end up being really close friends.

    Peter invites Anne in the attic to talk to her and to look at the stars (poor excuse). Then, Anne is worried sick that her sister has a crush on Peter and that she is hurting her by spending so much time with him. Then, Margot gives a letter to Anne saying that she is happy for her and Peter, the letter is nice and understanding. Anne responds with another nice letter saying that she is sad that her sister doesn't have a person to whom she can confide her feelings to.
