    A former monk named Zhu Yuanzhang took charge of a rebel army. He then took over the Mongols.

    After the monk defeated the Mongols, he founded the Ming dynasty. It was considered the most stable, prospering times in China.

    When the Tang dynasty fell, China fell into a period that is called Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms. It only lasted for about 50 years though.
