The British king raised up the taxes. There was a thing called the sugar act that was when other places would ship good and they didn't by it because the taxes were to high. There were over 9,000 British solders in the 13 colonies. The solders were throwing rocks and snow balls so the colonies people stated walking closer to them so they got there guns out and shot 5 people. -

In Boston the people were waiting for the tea and then the people did not want to buy the tea so some people called them self the Mohawk men and they went on the ships were the tea was and they dumped all the tea in the ocean. -
