    Boston Massacre
    When colonists were throwing rocks, snowballs, and cursing at the British men, the British men shot the colonists. This event was important because it brought back the subject of ending relationships with the British.

  • Boston Tea Party

    Boston Tea Party
    The Boston Tea Party was when colonist dumped boxes and boxes of tea into the ocean because the colonists were angry that they had to pay taxes for British tea. This event was important because it led to the Intolerable Acts. The Intolerable Acts were laws that punished the colonists for the tea they dumped in the Boston Harbor.

    Valley Forge During The Winter
    Washington chose Valley Forge for the American Army camp because it was easy to defend, and it was still close enough to the city. This was important because the American Army lost two battles before camping at Valley Forge. It was also important because they recieved the training and help with sanitation from von Steuben

  • Harry Lee attacks Paulus Hook

    Harry Lee attacks Paulus Hook
    Harry Lee went after fort Paulus Hook with a group of 400 men. He convinced Washington to do this because the man before him was successful because they used bayonets. They went in fast and suprised them and recaptured this important fort back from the British army.
    This was an important event because they captured a major fort without firing a shot and they did it within 20-30 minutes.

    The Battle Of Kings Mountain was a conclusive Patriot's victory. This battle took place in the south on Kings Mountain in South Carolina.
    This was an important event because after the British attacked Charleston, SC, this patriot victory wasthe first crucial win.

    Battle of Yorktown
    This battle took place in Yorktown, Virginia.
    This was one of the most important battles in the Revolutionary War because it was the war that ended the Revolutionary War altogether. This was a Patriotic victory.
