    The Boston Massacre was caused by the Stamp Act. This was when the British soldiers were in Boston, and many angry colonists were rioting because they didn't want to pay a tax on papers. Then one of the British soldiers shot at the unarmed colonists causing what we know as The Boston Massacre.

    The tea act was enacted by the king, and it caused only certified merchants to be able to sell tea, and anybody who sold tea without a permit would be shutdown. This caused the colonists to get mad because they didn't want to buy the certified tea.
