    A small force of Green Mountain Boys overcame a small british force in fort ticonderoga. After looting the weapons they were sent to boston to end the boston seige. This fort opened quebec to invasion and cut off communication to and from northern and southern british forces. The leaders of the operation on the american faction were Benidict Arnold and ethan allan with the conneticut militia. The british faction was commanded by William Delaplace with the 26th regiment of foot.

    The purpose of the continental congress was to serve as the government for the colonies during the revolution. American presidents who served on this congress were Presidents George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison and James Monroe. Other major figures such as Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin also served on the congress.

Casualties;1054 british and 450 american. When William Prescott led 1,200 soldiers onto breeds hill to fire onto Boston on the night of june 16th General Howe decided that the hill was Easy to take. The next mornig the hill was attacked and charged on by 3000+ british soldiers. America withdrew due to few supplies.

    The United Colonies and the 1st Canandian regiment fought aginst canadian militia and the british army posted in quebec wich were being led by Guy Carleton and Allen Maclean. The battle resulted in a decisive British victory. On the american side; around 50 were killed, 34 wounded, 431 captured vs 5 killed and 14wounded

    George Washington and Nathaele Greene vs Johann Rall†. After sevral defeats the american army had been pushed back and was low on moral. During the Christmas night the Continental Army surrounded a hessian infantry force off gaurd. The coming morning the Hessians surrendered after a short but feirce resistance most of the hessian force was captured. 2 american soldiers died of exposure, and 5 were woumded. 22 hessians died, 83 were wounded, and 896 were captured.
