After the revolution, Franklin reflects on what may have happened if the Albany plan for the union would have not failed. In this document from 1789, Franklin suggests that if this plan would have been implemented, we may have not have gone into war with Great Britain. However, despite this, he also states that even with an implemented union, we may have still went to war later ats ome point.
