The British empire created the declaration to take back the stamp act and change the sugar act.
The colonist then celebrated because the stamp act was no more and the sugar act was changed. -
Townshend Act
The Townshend act was placed by the British empire to take away some of the colonists freedom and place new taxes.
The colonist then started to boycott British goods again.
