In the 5th century many Moroccan artisans starts to make intercate object, as seen here, out of rock crystal. It was said before that the rock crystal posessed magical properties. These designs were used in many Chirstian church as well. It also was believed in Christian times, that in the hand of the faithful it would ensure that their prayer was heard.

The Arabs take control and with it bring Islam to Morocco. This occurs only 83 years after it is founded by Muhammad in Mecca and is quickly adopted by the rest of the Middle East.

The Almoravid Dynasty comes to being and it's capital is set up in Marrakesh. It is the first Berber Dynasty that succeeded Idrissid Dynasty , the first Moroccan Arab. During this era, the Almoravids invade Spain.

Many mosques are rebuilt in the Alaouite Dynasty. Many of these take place in Marrakesh. Along with mosques, pavilions and gardens are created.

On May 16, suidide bombers bombers attack a Jewish community, a Spanish restaurant, and more places at nearly the same time. They killed 33 people. People fight back with protest against Anti-Semitism.

A Germanic tribe called Vandals invaded Morocco from Spain. After years of chaos, Roman traditions went on again. The Vandals adopted the Roman language, Latin, and Roman traditions for their lifestyle.
