    African American woman Ida B. Wells starts nation-wide anti-lynching campaign after the murder of three black people in Tennessee

    Susan B. Anthony becomes second president of the NAWSA, she is president until 1900, becuase they were both deeply frustrated in all the sufferage towards women. Susan and Elizabeth composed, "Words can not describe the indignation, the humiliation a proud woman feels for her sex in disfranchisement."
