    Push Factors: -Lots of unusable farm land.

    Pull: -Upper Canada does not capture slaves, -People who will help find suitble jobs for them.
    Push: -The United State Senate passed a Fugitve Slave law allowing them to capture fugitve slaves and force them back.

    Push: - Many people where using the underground railroad. - They were being kept as slaves.
    Pull: It was a free land. No one looked at them with suspicion. Many people helped get jobs.
