    Columbus Discovers America.

    Columbus sailed out of Spain to see if the world was flat or round. He had 3 ships, with the permition of the queen. He discovered America, he landed and he stated his trip in the New World.

    The oldest European Settlement St. Augustine was founded.

    American revival of the religious history in the United States.
  • Boston Massacre

    The Boston Massacre began with al the people growing anger and hate against the British troops because they had to enforce The Townshed Act. The soldiers grew impatient and they fired, killing men, and later were accused of murder.
  • Boston Tea Party

    Boston Tea Party
    This party was oganized by the Sons of Liberty, they threw out tons of tea that were being shipped to America. They were againd teh tea taxes and didnt want to pay them anymore, so they decided to do something more then protesting.

  • Marbury vs. Madison

    A Supre Court case, over the deal with action being consitutianal or not. This was the fisrts Supreme Court case that they had to deal with. They had to find what was going against the counstitution and fix or find a way to prevent it.

    When the United States purchased the territory of 828,000 aquare miles, that doubled teh size of the US was know as the Louisiana Purchase. This land was purchased form the French in December 20, 1803.

    An Adress taht the President Monroe stablished so that Europe cant try to coquer or stablish settlements in the continent of America.
  • Indian Removal Act.

    President Jackson sighned an act that forces Indians o move out of their land. They had to leave their lands and move to another place, it was obligatory so they had to do it. They had to move from the land west of the Mississippi River.

    The US vs. the Confederate States. The war was caused because people didnt want to stay a single nation tehy had diffent opinions about everything inculding slavery. They fought for 4 yeatrs until the US beat the Confederate forces in Gettysburg. Abraham Lincoln as the president of teh US and Jefferson Davis as the president of the Confederate States.
  • Emancipation Proclamation

    Emancipation Proclamation
    Stated that all slaves were free from the Confederate States.
  • Thirteenth Amendment abolishes slavery.

    The 13th Amendment abolished slavery, in 1865. Which means that Slavery was prohibited in some areas.
  • 14th Amendment guarantees Civil Rights

    The Fourteen Amendment states that the rights for people have to be the same. That no matter th erace, color, or status everyone has to be treated equaly.

    WWI, started on November 22, 1914. Allies vs. Central Powers, teh fighting did not end untill November 11, 1918, after the Central Powers signed a treaty that stated that The Great War was over,

    The Allies vs. the Soviet Union, a.k.a The Axis Powers. The war started when Germany invaded Poland, on September 1, 1939 the war began. The war lasted 6 years, atomict bombs were used and millions of people died in World War II.
