When alligators lay their eggs between May to June, the eggs will incubate for 65 days and then hatch into 6 inch long baby alligators.

When an alligator reaches sexual age, 10 to 12 years old, they will be around 6 feet long. When they are 4 feet long that is when they normally leave their mother to be on their own.

Normally, wild alligators live about 50 years. Most of the baby allligators will not ever reach adulthood because of their small size, they will be eatin by other predators.
