Columbus "Discovers" America
Christopher Columbus first discovered San Salvador on October 1492. The second voyage he took he landed in a place that he called Dominica for (Sunday). The third trip he took he landed in a place in the Portuguese of Porto Santo on May 30, 1498. He was born on October 31, 1451 and died in May 20, 1506. -
Jamestown Colony Created
in the American Revolutionary War Jamestown was inconsequential by the site of fomor Governor Berkleys plantation. In the 19th century on may 13, 1807 Jamestown had a celebration called the Grand Nation Jubilee which held over 3,000 people in arrival. In 1807 Jamestown had a aniversary making the 250 anniversary which some had said was on over 10 acres of land that was built for that anniversary. -
Plymouth colony created
The main war was the pequot war in 1637. It started with the deput over the Conneticut Valley River. The main religion figure was John Robinson the main leader of the Separatists. -
New Amsterdam becomes New York
Served as the capital of new netherlands, and it is now what we know of as New York City.The first group arrived in 1624 but officially was founded when the second group arrived in 1625. The Dutch West India Company were the main help to the threat of New Amsterdam. -
Massachusetts Bay Colony created
in 1620 leading up to the massachusetts getting created the Plymouth Colony was established by the Pilgrims.The first arrival boat was the Mayflower which took 9 years to get their (1620-1629). Only about 300 puritans survived the whole boat ride and scattered into small settlements and isolated settlements.Their population increased when mary and john the boat arrived with 140 passengers. -
William Penn creates Pennsylvania
William Penn firsted called pennsylavia New Whales but then changed the name over to Pennsylvania. Their was a placeshe bought before he got Pennsylvania ehich was West Jersey. penn purchased West Jersey which was a section of New jersey. -
George Washington assaults Fort Duquesne
The battle of Fort Nessity took place at the mountaintop hamlet of Farmington.It was one of the first battles of the French and Indian War. It almost started the war it was like another pre-war. George Washington led 186 men then gathered more men on the way. -
Albany Congress meets
This was when the government asked the Albany Congress to meet. They develpo a treaty with the native americans to plan defense against France.This lead up to the revolutionary war. -
The French & Indian War concludes
AfterThe exception to stop the war french trying to gain a bargaining chip in 1762, which gained control of St. Johns, Newfoundland.Thats what caused the Battle of Signal hill in September in 1762.Then in 1763 all the wars from the main French and Indian war by a treaty called theHubertusberg.
