  • A Dangerous Mistake

    A Dangerous Mistake
The bravery of his deed finally sinking in, the Lion felt himself overflow with a powerful courage. He walked down the tower stairs happily, the little girl skipping ahead. Suddenly, his tail accidentally knocked over a lit candle, which had soon set a corner of the nearby curtains alight. The Lion shrugged. He was sure nothing bad would come of it. Besides, he was too excited at the thought of finally reclaiming the forest as his own to worry about it too much.
  • The Girl in the Tower

    The Girl in the Tower
Heading towards the origin of the scream, the Lion ran through the twisting hallways of the palace and up to the top of the Eastern Tower. Hanging from the window of the crumbling tower was a little girl, who was dangling by her shoe strap hundreds of feet in the air. Knowing that the tower could fall apart at any minute, the Lion quickly rushed towards the girl and, grabbing her shoe strap delicately, pulled her back up and into the safety of the hallway.
