Sixteen year Ruslan is a muslin living in Indonesia and works at a cafe. At the cafe he works at he gets a weastern family drinks . Sarah, a teenager, is with her parents and younger brother on a sailboat for vacation .

Sarah`s mom was fighting with Sarah at the cafe on the coast of Indonesia. Ruslan lives with his dad , a mechanic who will fix Sarah`s sailboat.

Surf Cat, is a kitten that Sarahs seven year old brother, Peter found . Sarah is fifteen . And Ruslan`s mother is dead .

The family had to get off the boat , and run to a nearby island . While running to the top of the island, Sarah`s dad breaks his leg .

Ruslans point of veiw . Ruslan wakes up to an earthquake . He reports to his job at the cafe when the tide starts to drop . With the tide dropping it exposes fish and coral . Following his instincts , Ruslan runns inland .

A tsunami follows Ruslan while he runs up the stairs of his house , in to his attic. the water covers Ruslans head .Ruslan has to bust open the roof . He is worried about his father , who was travling when the tsunami occurded .

The newly fixed boat rocked in the sea , a peice of a distant cliff fell , it was an earthquake . The engin broke , and the boat was stuck .

Sarah and Peter survived the huge wave , they find their mom dead and their dad unable to move .Sarah and Peter get on the boat .

Peter is very sick. Sarah has met Ruslan and Ruslan will help them go to a doctor .

Peter gets to a ruined hospital , and all the nurse gives him is asprin when he needs antibiotics .

Ruslan tells Sarah about a hospital inland that did not get hit with the tsunami .

Someone gives Sarah , Peter , and Ruslan to the inland hospital in a jeep.

They get to the hospital where Peter is treated .

There is a search that will soon be started for Sarah`s father , on Tigar Island .

With the help of antibiotics , Peter is slowly recovering .

Sarah`s mom`s body was recovered , and people are still looking for Peter`s dad .

Ruslan found his father .
