Starting in the late 1400's, Europeans from France, Spain, the Netherlands, and other countries began traveling to the Americas. During the time of the late 1500's England also found claiming lands and created colonies. In 1607, England created Jamestown, VA. In 1620, settlers endowed Plymouth, MA. Frequently the settlers and local Indians became friends. This is important to the U.S. because we needed people for jobs, because they brought different skills. Also they brought with them craftsmen. -

Migration From Other Areas
Spaniards had gotten to the south and southwest starting in the 1500's. Then by the 1700's, California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas has spanish missions and settlers. French colonists stayed in Louisiana. From through the Bering Strait, Russians established outposts. Then of course imigrants continued to get to the Atlantic parts too. This is important to the U.S. because more people from other areas could come join the U.S. -

In 1869, the new technology they got was a transcontinentel railroad and new agricultrual machinery. The railroad made it easier to get more foods and people. And the new agricultrul machinery helped grow more food faster. This is important to the U.S. because it helped the country move foods and people around easier and helped grow foods. -
Intro - Into The 2000's
Late 1900's, daily life changed in severel ways. These technologies created huge new industries. Still, industrial gain and international influence have carried problems with them into the 21st century. As the U.S. moves more towards the 2000's, it against many issues. It's important to the U.S. because it made the technology get more popular so that more people could be hired to work in more industries. This helped more people get jobs
