Missouri Compromise
Was an agreement passed in 1820 between the proslavery and anti slavery in the United States congress including the primary regulation of slavery in the western territories. Also put slavery on hold in Louisiana but in Missouri there still was slaves. -
Wilomot Proviso
This banned slavery in most territory. David Wimot brought us the Proviso. There were $2 million bills intended for the last and final dispute. It later passed the house but when at Senate it failed. -
Compromise of 1850
This Compromise consised of five bills. It was started up big time when ol Zachary the man Taylor died. The ol Zachary was a slaveowner. Texas the lone star state claimed oooo Mexico. Also preserved the union. -
Fugitive Slave Act
Colored people of Boston couldnt talk to the po po and watchmen. They were slave catchers. Laws passed where slaves could be moved. If some of the slaves escaped they would be returned to the south -
Uncle Tom's Cabin
A novel writin by Harriet Stowe. Tom was realized for his abolition work in the ubderground railroad. It was an anti-slavery book. All happened in Kentuky and Louisana. -
Kansas/ Nebraska
Was brought in the United States in the civil war. Made boundrys and found new lands. This act was made to allow the mideasterners to work on the railroad. -
Dred Scott Decision
Was made by the United States Supreme Court. Made a decision where slaves were held or not. The congress stopped slavery in federal places.
