The Puja Ceremony takes place at Base Camp 1 and is the starting point for all Everest expeditions. What they do is they write down their prayers on flags and the wind blows their prayers up to the heavens.

The crew climbs across the ladders at night so they don't see the deep trench they are crossing. The guide ropes are important for crossing the ladders. One wrong step and you die.

Doug Hansen, Andrew Harris, Yasuko Namba, Rob Hall, Scott Fischer, Subedar Tsewang Samanla, Lance Naik Dorje Morup, and Tsewang Paljor and all died on Mount Everest. Most of them died from the storm on the summit, the worst disaster in history.
