Maxim Machine Gun was the world's first automatic machine gun. Maxim gun used the energy from the recoil force to eject each spent cartridge and insert the next one. -
Hawaii Annexed
Annexing Hawaii expanded the U.S. Territory into the Pacific. President William McKinley urged the U.S. to annex Hawaii.
