    Was Bradford's view on practicing religion freely affected by the strictness of religion during his time? During the time, the intolerance of religion didn't really affect Bradford's view. He was so commited that he went against his family's opinion. Although at that time, it was illegal to have public practices, there were times when his group, Nonconformist were timid by this religious motive. But neverless it did not hinder them from reaching their goal.

But it was until later, when she saw what they had to endure and eat just to survive. Instead of it being vile and disturbing, she was in awed, realizing their ways were different compare to the Puritians.
