    Protests in Cairo begin
    VidOn January 25th, large crowds of Egyptians covered the streets to commemerate their police forces, and they called it the "Day of Rage". A mass group of over a thousand Egyptians marched downtown in the city of Cairo heading towards the offices of the National Democratic Party. Police clashed with the group of protestors firing tear gas and water cannons to keep them away while the crowd chanted "Down with Mubarak!" During these demonstrations three civilians and one police officer were killed.

    The Egyptian Revolution was a campaign of non-violent civil resistance that was held in Cairo, Alexandria and other Egyptian cities. Causes of this event included things such as police brutality, low income wages, high unemployment rate and political censorship. During the timespan, marches, acts of disobedience and labor strikes took place in order to overthrow the president Hosni Mubarak.

Protestors and demonstraters still did not agree with this and demanded that he step down immediately.

    Preparations for another day of preparations to overthrow Hosni Mubarak begin. The anti-government and pro-Mubarak protestors clash and begin to fight. The violence raged for a majority of the day leaving about 1,500 people injured and by the end of the day 3 people were reported dead.

    Those in the Tahrir Square fear military forces coming to evacuate them. Many reports continue of how many people died in the last 11 days. The Egyptian Health minister says that 11 people have died and 300 injured.

    The Muslim Brotherhood states that is has decided to participate in a dialogue round in order to understand how serious the officials are in dealing with the demands of the people. After this statement banks were reopened, traffic police were back on street and attempts to start reforming the capital back to normal began.

By this time banks were reopened, but schools and stock exchange remained closed. The government did not like what was going on so they offered to raise salary by 15 cents in order to appease and calm the crowd.
