  • 2010 QLD Flood

    On the 25th of November, The rain spat and swirled around the big winds on Queensland and then got heavier and heavier Into big storms which later turned into something you might not even call a storm.
  • Start of floods

    A series of floods hit Queensland on the 25 of December where rain spit from the sky and the floods came in. But this just the start when the starting floods happened because there was more to come
  • End of the floods

    The floods crashed through the towns and cities of Queensland and the floods forced heaps of thousands of people to evacuate their towns and cities of Queensland. At least 90 of the towns and around people were affected. The damage was estimated at around 1billion dollars before it was concluded up to $2.38 billion. there were 33 deaths from the floods, with another 3 people that are still missing from the treacherous floods.

    The Queenslanders were very tough and strong while it was happening and at no point would they give up but they would keep fighting for their town and what they stood for which was Queensland, their town. It showed that the towns were demolished and brought down to their knees by this catastrophic series of floods that swallowed towns and connected the ocean to probably most of their cities and towns.
  • The recovery of the 2010-2011 QLD flood

    The people of Queensland recovered quite well and built more secure houses and roads for future outcomes. Because when the future comes you need to be ready for what's gonna hit you next.
