iPod, an apple product (we all know Steve Jobs), was a risk. While the main focus was on developing a better MacBook in the 2001 era. However demand showed how important the modern day phone became.

2006 brought up the first of Blu-ray invented by the Blu-ray disk company itself. It essentially made itself useless as time went on and streaming services like Netflix, and Hulu became more popular.

We can't leave out the iPhone, we know apple is owed by Steve Jobs. The first models released for about 500$ and on 4G. it sold over 30 million, this is easy to believe today as phones can go for up to 1600 and continuously getting faster and smarter.

The kindle was invented by, of course, Jeff Bezos. With the first version selling out within 5 hours of releasing, it took another 5 months to release any more. This brought up and popularized e-books and the e-reading population making authors more well known. With this Amazon also followed with the kindle fire line which has a remote in many homes today.

Bluetooth headsets became available to the public in 2002 made by Nils Rydbeck. It was invented in 1999 however the technology was too expensive for the general public.
